UrtheCast is a Canadian company out to change the world, it is launching the world's first ever high definition or HD streaming video of planet Earth and everything that exists within the planet earth. The camera will be installed on the outside of the International Space Station through a joint effort with the Russian Space Agency and other new agencies that have not been notified. The HD Camera mounted on the Space Station will provide a 40 km wide, high resolution, no pix-elated, color image down to as close as 1.1 metres.
Now that is impressive, A camera that can give out HD Images from so far away to such small areas.Also this will probably be a day thing, the part of the world that has daylight will have this feature as a HD Camera so far away may not be able to create enough natural light to get a High Quality Image.

But I for one am not sure of the legitimacy of this Company as they have come out of the Blue and are claiming they have connections with Russian Space Agencies and What not, How can a Small start-up company be able to take on such a massive operation, the cost of Logistics alone would over burden any small to medium sized company.But I may be wrong.
Also They seem to be taking Google Head on with Google Earth Program.They say they are better than Google earth as they provide HD Streaming Video against Google Earth's Still Pictures.
UrTheCast says they will be ready by 2012 - 13, lets give them good luck.
