Robbie Bach was instrumental in Microsoft's rise to the top, he had been with Microsoft for 22 years and very recently had been shifted to the XBOX division of Microsoft where he was the top authority.Sonos CEO John McFarlane seems to have convinced Robert J Bach to come out of Self Imposed semi-Retirement to help the Audio Sharing Company expand on the Retail Sphere.
Sonos being the Audio Sharing Giant that they are, did not have a Retail Store until now and are probably looking for the best in the business to run their new venture into Retail Marketing.
Sonos makes more than just your Ordinary Speakers and Music Systems, they are involved in Audio Sharing.
